by Kevin Sinclair

She's waking slowly from her slumber
Hair tangled and over her face
As she lies there in my arms
She's so warm and dreamy
I just don't want to disturb her
But awake she must to face the day
Somewhere somehow she hears me
As I sing to her so softly the words:
Sticky kisses
For my missus
Just to say
I love you.
She gives me that smile that says it all
She loves to hear those words
And to feel those sticky kisses
As she awakes to the world
Slowly she's coming out of her dream
Keen to remember and record
But she still can hear me as
I sing to her these words:
Sticky kisses
For my missus
Just to say
I love you.
