by Kevin Sinclair

Look around
What do you see?
Look around
How many are free?
Remember, you can never tell
Just like a cover on a book
You need to read the words inside
Before you can know for sure
Don't let prejudice rule
Otherwise you'll look like a fool
Premature judgements deny
The right to find out why.
Look around
Who are you?
Look around
What do you do?
Words can have magic and mystery
A reflection of you and I
Read the pages of a life
We may be different but still alike
Hasty judgements bring pain
Limiting ability for us all to gain
And the wisdom of experience shows
We need each other if we want to grow.
Look around
What is it you see?
Look around
Are you who you are meant to be?
