Blood Red - Red Raw

by Kevin Sinclair

Look at my face
It's so out of place
With the pain that I feel.

Look into my eyes
You can't hear my silent cries
As it's all so unreal.

Blood red and burning
My whole world is turning
Inside out and
Back to front
Coming back in on me.

Which role should I be?
A ghost of visions past
Or a slave in chains
With ankles red raw
Waiting to be set free.

Know that I am you
Don't know who is me
Yo-yos and circles
Just seem the same
Want to be homeward bound.

Look at my face
You won't see a trace
Of the pain that I feel.

Listen to my sighs
They disguise my cries
Cause I'm made of steel.
