Article – How to Explode Your Online Sales!

If you want to be successful online, there's one thing that you need to spend more time on than anything else.

It's more important than flashy graphics, more vital than amazing ad copy, more necessary than huge bonus offers.

"What is it?" I hear you ask ... Your HEADLINE!

Your headline is the heart and soul of not just your site, but your ENTIRE business.

It is the first thing that people see when they visit your site, so it should be the one thing that keeps them ON your site!

Successful online entrepreneurs know the secret to a great headline. Simply tweaking an existing headline can improve sales by more than 624%.

Plain and simple, it can mean the difference between success and failure.

So just how do YOU write a "Killer Headline"?

There are simple formulas you can use to skyrocket your website response changing only your headline.

-- Make a clear, yet BOLD statement. Take the following headlines: "You will lose lots of weight with our new pill" and "Shed 25lbs in just 25 days with our Amazing New diet-pill". Which do you think is the more effective? Of course it's the second one. It has a bold statement with a well defined benefit for the user.

-- Use Power words Take the above example. Simply using words like "Shed" and "Amazing" will create a sense of emotion in the reader. They will become intrigued by the words, enticed to read on. The effect is almost Hypnotic. Other Power words such as "Discover, build, secret, learn, fast, sell" all encourage the reader to stay on your page and read more of your carefully crafted sales letter.

-- Ask the reader a question. "How would you like to make $3,564 a month from home?" Asking a question engages the reader in a more personal manner. They are no longer just reading your sales pitch, but they are stopping to ponder on your question. They wonder, would they really like to make $3,564 a month... You betcha! You've just wet their appetite, they'll have to keep reading to find out more! So now you have an idea of how to formulate your headline, but there are still a few points to remember to make sure you don't undo all that hard work.

-- DON'T make your headline too long. All the power words and questions won’t mean a thing if your visitors get bored half way through. For that reason, keep your headline, short and to the point. Give them just enough to want more - that's when your sales copy takes over.

-- DON'T leave out benefits for the reader. If you want people to listen to you, then you need to understand this fundamental rule about the human race... We (that includes me!) will only be interested if we feel that there is something for us at the end of it. It's a commonly (though surprisingly little known) technique of addressing the "What's In It For Me?" factor. Tell the reader how it will help them and they'll have to read more.

-- Imagine that the headline is the only thing they will see and that you have to convey your point there and then. Many people rely on lots of long sales copy, with bulleted points and raving testimonials, but this is worthless unless you can grab the reader from the start. Think of an email. If you want someone to read your email, you have to make your headline scream "Open Me" without the reader even seeing the rest of the contents. Treat your site just the same; make your headline scream "Read ME!"

To sum up.. If your site is not pulling well, the first thing you should look at is your headline. The greatest sales pitch in the world won’t mean a thing without the greatest headline to go with it. Visit other sites too. If they get you reading on and on without realising it, stop and go back to their headline to see how they did it.

Article – Using Keywords and Keyword Phrases Effectively

For best search engine optimization, you must use your keywords and keywords phrases effectively.

For optimal effectiveness, use different keywords and/or keyword phrases on each page of your website. Optimize each page for those keywords and/or keyword phrases that are relevant to the content of that particular page.

Title Tag

-Use keywords and/or keyword phrases as a descriptive title for each page.

-Use your most relevant keywords and/or keyword phrases in your home page title.

-To be the most effective, title tags should contain only keywords and/or keyword phrases.

-Repeat the keywords and/or keyword phrases 2-3 times but make sure that the title makes sense. An example for this page would be: Keyword Usage, Using Keywords and Keyword Phrases Effectively.

Meta Tag Keywords

-Place all relevant keywords and keyword phrases in your meta tag.

-If possible, avoid using single keywords as they may be too competitive. Use keyword phrases instead.

-Don't repeat your keywords more than 2-3 times to avoid offending some search engines.

-Separate keywords and keyword phrases with commas or spaces, not both. Example: keyword,keyword phrase,keyword or keyword keyword phrase keyword.

-Use common misspellings or miss keyings. Ex: keywrod or keywird.

-Use different forms of keywords whenever possible. Ex: web site and website.

-Use singular and plural versions of keywords. Ex: website and websites.

-Use upper and lower case. Ex: Website and website

Meta Tag description

-Use your keywords and keyword phrases in your meta tag description.

-Repeat your most important keywords and/or keyword phrases a minimum of 2-3 times.

-The total length of your description tag should be no more than 20-25 words.

-Your description should make sense as this is what often shows up in the search engine results page. This is your opportunity to persuade users to click through to your site so be sure your description is enticing and contains keywords and/or keyword phrases that will attract visitors.

Content

-Many search engines concentrate on the first 250 words of your text when looking for keyword relevancy and density so concentrate your keywords and/or keyword phrases there.

-Strive for 5-7% keyword density (5-7 keywords and/or keyword phrases per 100 words of text). If your keyword density is much higher than this, your copy may not make sense AND the search engines may consider it keyword spamming.

-Use your most important keywords and/or keyword phrases throughout your copy but without sounding repetitious.

-Use your most important keywords and/or keyword phrases in your H1 tag. To give more weight to your H1 tag, use only one H1 tag in your copy. (Your H1 tag should contain your most important statement so you shouldn't need to use more than one H1 tag.)

-Use keywords and/or keyword phrases in your image ALT tags. For example your logo ALT tag should say something such as: ALT="keyword logo image".

META tags are not as important as they once were as most search engines are now searching your copy when looking for keywords and/or keyword phrases. Therefore, it's become increasingly important to have the first 250 words of your copy be keyword rich.

Sometimes, it may be better to write your content first, then choose your keywords and/or keyword phrases from the content. Rewrite your content as needed, adding keywords and/or keyword phrases that pertain to the theme of the content. In this way, you've chosen keywords and/or keyword phrases that are relevant to your content, instead of trying to write content to fit your keywords and/or keyword phrases.

Article – Do The Things That You FEAR

In order for us to change the things that we are unhappy with in our lives we have to change the way that we think. If we never change the way that we think we will continue to get the same results in our lives. In order for us to see changes in our lives we have to face our worst enemy and that is FEAR (really ourselves).

About 90% of people live their lives in fear and never become the person that they dream of becoming. This simply happens because they just fail to take action. They FEAR what they don't understand. We have to look at FEAR as nothing more then a word or as a learning process.

Did you ever know what FEAR was when you were a young child? Probably not, at least until someone that you trusted or looked up to told you what it was. Mankind has simply connected a word to a feeling, giving it life and in turn making people fear it. Mark Twain said it best with this quote, "Do the things that you FEAR most and the DEATH to FEAR is certain." You owe it to yourself to understand this principle.

To conquer fear, start by accomplishing the things that you fear the most. After doing so, you will look back and think how foolish it was to be afraid in the first place.

Learn to leave your comfort zone. When we leave our comfort zone we become a more rounded individual. When we do the things that we fear and look back at them afterwards, we see that what we feared has now turned into part of our comfort zone. This simply happens because we do not fear these things after accomplishing them in the past. The next time similar situations arise we will no longer stress over it, we will just do it.

We must set our minds on always conquering the unknown. Always "think outside the box". Look fear in the eyes and just do the task. Chances are that you will succeed and soon come to find out that FEAR is nothing more then a word. Every successful businessperson has undoubtedly faced fear many times, yet they have succeeded in their business. So can you!

Think back to when you were a child. Most of us have limitations put on our lives very early. We are taught how to think, what schools to attend, how to make a living, and finally, even how to plan our retirement. Most of us end up fearing anything that is different than what we are taught.

Once we understand and can change some of the beliefs that have been programmed into us by society, we can more fully take control of our lives and our destiny through the power of positive thought.

You to can become successful in any aspect of your life that you choose. You just have to get past one thing, YOURSELF!

When you do this you will start to become the person that you have always dreamed about. Today is the day you are going to take what is rightfully yours. It's called LIFE! We are here to enjoy every aspect of life, not just to be a part of it.

Believe in yourself and start by conquering FEAR!!
