Article – 5 Strategies to Boost Your Affiliate Sales

Are you promoting affiliate products?

This article will show you 5 strategies to boost your Affiliate Sales, so make sure you read it and put in practice what I'm about to reveal you.

The KEY to affiliate marketing is to take action!

1. STOP joining NEW affiliate programs

If you really want to generate more sales, then JOIN a reputable affiliate program and focus your marketing and promotion on a single affiliate product or service.

Unless you receive thousands of visitors a day to your affiliate links, there's no reason why you'd want to JOIN more affiliate programs. Most do it because they think will make more money.

Others promote an affiliate product for a few days or weeks using weak advertising tactics, give up and then JOIN another 'HOT' program due to the fact the commission is a nice attraction.

That's the wrong way to play the affiliate marketing 'game'!

2. Register Your Own Domain Name

People purchase online from those they like and trust, so owning a domain name is the first STEP to building trust with your Web Site visitors. Try to register a domain name related to the affiliate product you're promoting. If you promote mobile phones you can register newmobilephones.com.

Where to register domain names?

There are lots of places on the Web where you can register domains for less than $10 a year. Just do a search on "register domain names" or "domain name registration" on any search engine.

3. Build Your Own Web Site

You can build your own Web Site using html editors or hire others to build it for you. Just make sure you have a Web Site of your own where you can promote the product you're affiliated with; all TOP affiliate marketers own a Web Site.

If you don't know html, you can use TOOLS that help you create Web Sites by drag-and-drop (WYSIWYG editors).

Having your own Web Site is the second step to building trust with your Web Site visitors and a GREAT Way to boost your Affiliate Sales. The more CONTENT you add to your site, the more FREE targeted traffic you could attract from major search engines like Google.

4. Create Your Own Affiliate Promotion Materials

If you want to boost your Affiliate Sales you must do something different, you must stand out in the crowd. There are other affiliates promoting the same product like you so you should think of ways to CREATE your own original affiliate promotion materials.

Let me give you 2 examples:
- create your own articles, ads, courses, ebooks, reports, etc.
- offer EXCLUSIVE Bonuses to any order that came from your affiliate link (e.g. a Special Report or ebook)

5. Get more quality TRAFFIC to your Site

You can't generate any Affiliate Sales if you receive ZERO traffic (visitors) to your Web Site. You can generate ZERO Sales if you receive lots of untargeted visitors (people not interested in your affiliate product or Web Site).

Want more Affiliate Sales? Get more quality TRAFFIC... visitors that are 100% interested in your Web Site content/affiliate product.

Here's how to GET more quality TRAFFIC:
- register a domain name that is a perfect match for the affiliate product you're promoting;
- use a SIG file (a 3-line text description of your Web Site plus your domain name url) to all posts (answers/questions) in some popular online forums related to the topic of your Web Site;
- send testimonials to others who own Web Sites in the same category of yours and let them know that you like their ezine, product, service or Web Site.

Let them know that you appreciate what they are doing and tell them to include your comments as a testimonial on their Web Site with your name and Web Site link included.

Article – How You Can Easily Compile A Gigantic Keyword List

It doesn't matter what kind of marketing you are involved in.

Having the most keywords for your market or niche is a surefire way to win over your competition, and that's a fact!

The most important place to have thousands of keywords is in your pay-per-click campaigns, as you want to hit as broad an audience as possible, within your market or niche.

If you are using pagemill software to automatically build websites surrounding a particular market or niche, you know that the more keywords you have, the more pages your site will contain, and ultimately the higher pagerank and position your site will have.

Therefore, having as many keywords as possible is absolutely critical to your online success. Luckily, there are a several free resources you can use in your quest.

3 Great And Free Keyword Resources

The most widely known resource is Overture's Keyword Tool: http://inventory.overture.com/d/searchinventory/suggestion/

Type in a phrase and all related searches on yahoo for the past month will be yours for the taking.

Another great resource is Google's Keyword Tool: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordSandbox

Simply type in your phrase and out comes a large list of related searches on Google.

What's even more cool is that Google's Keyword Tool will also give you a list of similar searches. These may not be exactly for your market, but they will be highly relevant none the less.

The Last Free Keyword Tool is Good Keywords: http://www.goodkeywords.com/

This is actually a free piece of software that you download and install of your computer. It's an excellent tool for digging out even more keywords.

The Killer Keyword Resource

The all time number one keyword resource is WordTracker. It's a paid service, but you are getting much more than what you pay for.

You can sign-up for 24 hours of access at http://www.wordtracker.com for only $7 and pump their system for as many keywords as you want!

Within WordTracker you feed their system with your main keyword, e.g. "gardening" and they will show you all related searches and phrases for the past 60 days.

What To Do Next

Once you have all your keyword lists from wordtracker, good keywords, overture and google, you simply combine them into one gigantic list.

Naturally, some of the keywords will be identical, but you will definitely end up with a huge list, and depending on your market or niche you easily can go from a few hundred keywords to several thousands using this method.

How To Quickly And Easily Combine Keyword Lists

There's a new keyword tool available that will handle this task for you in seconds. It allows you to simply paste in your various lists, and voila, you will end up with a neatly formatted and clean keyword list.

Article – How to Make Time for your Soul

The locust are buzzing. The fireflies flashing, and we can almost swim in Lake Champlain. That means it's just about popsicle weather, which is the perfect time to get serious about your dream. There's more daylight, less squeeze in schedules, and more time to connect with your soul.

These are some great ways to tweak your routine to better serve your dream. Dig in before the summer slips by. Your heart will thank you!

- Unplug your television. Even better, completely remove it. Or put a lock on it. You can find them at Time Scout or Eyetimer.

- Cancel your subscriptions. Get rid of anything you don't read. I just gave up The New Yorker (which I'd 'read' for 26 years ... or let pile up.) If I can do it, you can, too!

- Make regular 'soul' time every day. If you're a morning person, get up one hour earlier and dig into your projects. If you're a night person, stay up one hour later.

- Time your projects. Determine before you start just how long you're willing to work. Then prepare to be pleasantly surprised when you make your deadline. We used this to write our songs for my new show (see below) and it worked like a charm.

- Don't waste your lunch hour eating. Bring lunch to work, eat it briefly at your desk, and then get out there and do what really matters to you.

- Stop agreeing to do things you don't truly want to do. This includes volunteering, meeting friends and family, and serving on committees.

- Redesign your work schedule. Create one day or several afternoons a week to concentrate on the things you really want to do in life. Explore flex-time alternatives in your workplace. Consider telecommuting, working from a home office, or going free-lance with your company.

- Put the kids to bed earlier. Establish 'grown up' time, a time zone when all children are in bed (even if they're only looking at books or listening to tapes before going to sleep) and the adults get to have a little room to breath.

- Cut corners cooking. Take advantage of gourmet take-out and grocery-store fast foods, such as prewashed salad, precut vegetables, and premarinated chicken.

- Stop answering the phone. Return calls during a pre-scheduled set time each day that works for you. Or better yet, email a reply, and post your email on your answering machine as a better way to get in touch.

Divide up the housework. Hand over the laundry and vacuuming to your mate. Teach your children to do dishes, cook meals and mop floors. And be willing to give up control of the end results. Read Patricia H. Sprinkle's book, Children Who Do Too Little ; Why Your Kids Need to Work Around the House (and How to Get Them to Do It) for terrific pointers on how to make this happen.

- If you can't relax your standards, delegate. Hire local teenagers, professional housecleaners, or even a temp service to help you clear out your desk, answer correspondence, pay bills, organize closets, walk the dog -- whatever you can give up that makes more time for you.

- Do something you truly love. Once you've created this time for yourself, use it wisely. Take on the challenges and dreams that really will improve your life. Chances are that once you start, it will be very hard to stop.

Best of all, thank yourself for doing that work that you are truly meant to do ... and not so much of the other stuff that slows us all down.
